• Using modern arboricultural practices such as pruning techniques which minimise the effect of removing a limb and best enable the tree to heal itself
• Crown thinning in preference to crown reduction when this is a suitable option
• Avoiding outdated and discredited practices such as topping, tipping and removal of limbs by flush cutting, all of which weaken the tree.

We care for the environment by:
• Recycling waste as firewood, chippings or compost whenever possible
• Using low emission equipment whenever possible
• Using biodegradable lubricating oil
• Currently actively investigating the use of biodiesel for our transport
