Above all, Arden Tree Surgery stands for
care; care for the trees and plants we work with, care for
the environment we live and work in and care for the customer.
Using modern arboricultural practices such as pruning
techniques which minimise the effect of removing a limb and
best enable the tree to heal itself
Crown thinning in preference to crown reduction when
this is a suitable option
Avoiding outdated and discredited practices such as
topping, tipping and removal of limbs by flush cutting, all
of which weaken the tree.
Recycling waste as firewood, chippings or compost whenever
possible
Using low emission equipment whenever possible
Using biodegradable lubricating oil
Currently actively investigating the use of biodiesel
for our transport
